I have always had a passion for student travel. Ever since my first band trip in high school, I've enjoyed the experiences and camaraderie that comes from outstanding travel opportunities--opportunities th​at build knowledge and understanding of the world around us.
As a band and orchestra director for 14 years, I was able to provide my groups with some outstanding experiences in locations around the United States. As an alum of James Madison University, I was also fortunate travel as a member of the renowned Marching Royal Dukes to the Presidential Inaugural Parade and the Dublin New Year's Day Parade.
In 2015, I started Grace Note Tours with the idea that travel planning should be simple, the cost affordable, and the student experience at the forefront. I aimed to blend educational sense with strong business practice to serve students and the leaders who teach them. Unlike larger companies, I provide a unique perspective when it comes to planning and teaching around the total travel experience (from the planning stages to the return trip home). And best of all, we strive to do it at a price that is industry-leading so that more people can take part in the experience.
